Datacenter 02 — Amsterdam
New data center building in the Netherlands
The challenge
This was one of our largest projects to date: just under 900 racks, 28 aisles, and a full ceiling grid with cantilever arms, plus the yellow cable trays and wire mesh trays throughout. The entire scope had to fit into a tight schedule, with several other contractors working in parallel around us and depending on our progress. Close coordination with the client and the building's security team kept transport of materials safe and on schedule.
What we did
Clear communication with the client was central to how this project ran: who was on site, what work was underway, and how the schedule was tracking, week by week. Early preparation meant the project stayed on schedule from the start, with a weekly written update keeping the client informed of progress throughout.
The outcome
The client now has a neatly finished data hall: just under 900 cabinets, cold aisle containment with well-adjusted doors, all cable trays laser-aligned, and a solid support structure on the ceiling — built to last for decades.
